Shipping & Returns

Returns for Exchange or Credit

We will happily accept returns on unused merchandise for up to 30 days after the date of purchase. Simply mail the merchandise to us with the original invoice and in the original box. All returns will be for exchange or store credit only, unless we made a big, bad mistake. Just let us know what you would like in exchange, whether you want your credit in the form of a gift certificate or store account.


We do not accept returns for refunds unless we made a big, bad mistake. If we sent you a red tablecloth instead of a yellow one, for example, that’s our big, bad mistake. Or if you told us you need it by Christmas and we shipped it after Christmas, that’s our big, bad mistake. Otherwise, we trust you will be able to accept an exchange for something of equal value.


We ship by UPS anywhere in the continental United States and by most expeditious means (usually by USPS) beyond our borders. Our shipping charges are designed to cover our shipping costs as well as handling and packing your order and the cost of packing and shipping supplies.

Our standard rates apply as follows:

  • From $00 to $15.99 apply shipping - $6.00

  • From $16 to $25.99 - $8.00

  • From $26 to $49.99 - $10.00

  • From $50 to $99.99 - $15.00

  • From $100 to $150.99 - $17.50

  • From $151 to $250.99 - $20.00

  • From $251 to $350.99 - $25.00

  • From $351 to $499.99 - $35.00

  • From $500 to $799.99 - $45.00

  • From $800 on up apply $48.00

To Canada:

  • From $00 to 25.99 apply $10.00

  • From $26 to 150.99 apply $25.00

  • From $151 to 350.99 apply shipping $35.00

  • From $351 to 799.99 apply shipping $45.00

  • From $800 on up apply shipping $55.00

To other countries we add a $38.00 shipping minimum charge. Caterina Ltd. is not responsible for any customs or import duties your country may require.  Please be prepared to pay that!

Delivery of in-stock items in the continental United States can be expected within 3-7 business days from the day we process your order.

Oversize items will be marked with a symbol . The freight cost is listed with the product.

Expedited Shipping

Need it sooner? Rush delivery is available on non-oversized items.  Please call about expedited shipping.  We can give you overnight and second day rates over the phone.  Generally, you can expect the surcharge to follow these principles:

The shipping fee is non-taxable.

Furniture and oversize Delivery

Basic Freight - Pieces with this symbol are shipped basic freight because of their size and/or weight. You will pay the fixed rate shown for each product.  Prior to delivery, you will receive a call to arrange a 4-hour weekday delivery appointment between the hours of 9 am and 5 pm. Someone must be available to receive and sign for the delivery. No rush delivery or gift wrap is available for items with this symbol .

Alaska, Hawaii And U.S. Territories

There is a $10 additional surcharge for delivery of non-oversize items to AK, HI and U.S. Territories. Please allow 2-4 weeks for delivery via U.S. Mail Parcel Post to offshore locations.

Military APO/FPO Addresses

We do ship to military APO/FPO addresses. We do not charge you for shipping. It is our way to thank you for your service to our country.

Back Orders/Out Of Stock Items

We try to stock everything on our web catalog but because most of our products are hand-made and ship from Europe, we may not be able to fill your order immediately. We will call or email you to let you know when you might expect delivery. We will automatically back order the item and ship it when we get it unless you cancel the order.


We accept payment in U.S. Dollars. Visa, Mastercard, Discover, Paypal and American Express are acceptable forms of payment.
